Ingredients

  • 2 ripened mangoes
  • 1 raw mango
  • 1½ cup sugar
  • water

Method

Step 1

Take 2 big ripened mangoes and 1 raw mango. Peel the skin of the mangoes and chop them into small pieces. Add chopped mangoes (both ripened and raw) in a mixer jar. Add little water and blend well to a smooth the puree.

Step 2

Add mango puree in the pan. Keep heat on medium low and keep stirring puree. After 10 min add 1½ cup sugar in it and stir well. Let it cook for 10 min. Turn off the heat and let puree cool down.

Step 3

Use sieve and strain the mango puree to remove mango fibers.

Step 4

Add water in puree and adjust the consistency as required.

Step 5

Keep mango frooti in refrigerator for chilling.

Serve chilled mango frooti.
